Ancient City of Ephesus
Room Description
...was one of its cities. As you walk along the marble-paved Curetes Street, you're greeted by the Library of Celsus with its magnificent two-story façade, the Temple of Hadrian, and the Terrace Houses with their mosaic-adorned floors. Carved into a hillside, the massive theater with a capacity of 25,000 still stands at the heart of the city, radiating the same excitement as its first day.
Ephesus is more than just stone ruins; it holds a living history where Saint Paul once preached, changing the course of history. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2015, the ancient city is just a 5-minute drive (3 km) from our hotel. A little tip: we recommend visiting early in the morning, before the crowds arrive. When the sun first touches the marble, the city tells a whole different story.
